Update: tsnX – Alpha Graphics, Mod CP, Game Plan

Today I added a couple code changes to get some alpha blending to the graphics on the forums, however, I don’t think it worked, because I was told to edit files that I apparently don’t even use with this current set up (as I changed the filename, and the site still works when it shouldn’t). So I applied the changes in other places to see if it would work like that, and it still shows now effect. I’ll work with it some more, probably tonight.

I also will be starting on the Moderator Control Panel this afternoon, assuming it’s different from what the moderators already see. I say that because there are apparently some improvements to the Category Hierarchy that have instituted some of these modifications itself, like the calendar and I noticed a spell check button in the code – but don’t see it on the page.

Once the Moderator Control Panel is done, then the FAQ Manager, and eXtreme Styles switcher will be next. And then I have to work on ANOTHER report for government class, so things will halt as I work on that project.

After that, I institute all the small modifications and start work on the graphic design.

I am a web programmer, system integrator, and photographer. I have been writing code since high school, when I had only a TI-83 calculator. I enjoy getting different systems to talk to each other, coming up with ways to mimic human processes using technology, and explaining how complicated things work.

Of my many blogs, this one is purely about the technology projects, ideas, and solutions that I have come across in my internet travels. It's also the place for technical updates related to my other sites that are part of The-Spot.Network.
