Man, I nearly forgot about writing tonight…or I should say, this morning. It’s 12:30 am, and I just got off work. We have inspection tomorrow and we had to work our butts off cleaning. We still didn’t get everything done, but we still have a little bit of time tomorrow to do some things.

Now, I know how it felt for Benji, Jay, and Lil’ Ben to work on the site under me. I was a procrastinator…and when the boss is procrastinating, on a job that you require to be done to proceed, it gets rough. Steve was all up in my kitchen tonight, and I had the most difficult time concentrating on the task I needed to get done. I had an especially difficult time when I came to work with my own agenda to clean things, and he already had a list made for me to do. So, needless to say, I didn’t get anything I wanted to do done.

Very well…I did find myself working at a slow pace, but steadily all night long. The kitchen looks way cleaner than the front and dining area. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, but it’s probably both.

Anyway, today was rather boring. I was pretty disappointed when, on my one Wednesday off (the only day the library opens) the librarian didn’t show up. So my day was pretty much shot. I did, however, before that, watch the Address to the UN by Colin Powell. That was interesting for the first hour, but after that I lost interest and my mind started wandering. I kept watching it through for history’s sake.

My mom did notice that Iraq’s mobile bio-weapons trucks look extremely similar to the ones we see driving down our highway in front of my house. Unmarked, ply-wood walls built on a flat-bed semi, in sets of two or three. Curious…but I doubt that they are the same, as does my stepdad.

So when we got back from the library tenure, I watched Double Jeopardy w/ Ashley Judd…mmm…she’s pretty hot…anyway, it’s a good show. But I was bored afterward. So a nap I took – great nap. It helped with staying up so late tonight…although this is the time I would normally be getting back to my dorm, either to start homework, or to talk online to my friends…more often than not it would be to talk online, then watch a movie, then do homework, then sleep and/or (on occasion) talk to Amy on the phone because she couldn’t sleep.

Ahh…*sigh* good times. I miss her. Laterz.

I'm Neo, creator of the-spot.net. This journal is a digital form of the paperback journal that I kept each day from December 21, 2002 until March 23, 2003. It details my life experiences during those three months: the transition from college sophomore to adult, interactions with my parents, and general life after leaving the private college on-campus "bubble". These days I'm much better now, and living on my own. I haven't talked to my parents since May 2005 when my brother graduated high school.
