generic drivers that the Raspberry Pi can use on first plugin, so you have to install them manually.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve now done this\u00c2\u00a0a few times, manually for 3.10.25+ Raspbian and with the details (just not in a step-by-step order that I will offer).<\/p>\n<p>Now, on to the walk-through.<\/p>\n<p>I decided to use a Chrome Extension called <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/secure-shell\/pnhechapfaindjhompbnflcldabbghjo\" target=\"_blank\">Secure Shell<\/a> to do the commands here, since I intend on using my Chromebook (cr-48) and Chrome OS to interact with my Raspberry Pi. These screenshots are using the Chrome Extension on Windows 8.1. Tools like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chiark.greenend.org.uk\/~sgtatham\/putty\/download.html\" target=\"_blank\">PuTTY<\/a>, Linux command line, or\u00c2\u00a0any other SSH connection (or Raspberry Pi with<\/p>\n<pre style=\"color: #000000;\">pi@tsnPi ~ $ iwconfig<\/pre>\n<p>You should see your wlan0 listed, however if this is the first time you&#8217;ve installed the drivers, it probably won&#8217;t automatically be connected.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll want to do a reboot before you set up your network, just to make sure the drivers take (I know I had to reboot before it would connect to the internet).<\/p>\n<pre style=\"color: #000000;\">pi@tsnPi ~ $ sudo reboot<\/pre>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure there are tutorials online for how to get your network configured on your Raspberry Pi.
